With a long-standing tradition of farming, those early hearts understood the magic hidden within the soil. Today, the unique terroir, a combination of geography, climate, and geology, makes Hornby Island ideally suited for viticulture.

Hornby Heart wines are crafted  by winemaker, Amy Baugh, whose talents for viticulture have flourished over her years at the vineyard. Amy’s creativity and refinement, combined with her passion for a more natural approach have brought forth Hornby Heart’s impressive selection of vintages.

Inspired by nature and the beauty of the vines, Rebecca Goldman weaves her creativity onto every bottle. From canvas to label, hues of lilac and bluebell dance with sages and rose. The result — a label as unique as the batch itself.

  • Estate Gewürtztraminer 2023

    Flavours of pineapple, peach, and apricot with aromas of lychee, honey, ginger and allspice.

  • Estate Pino Gris 2023

    Slightly dry with notes of citrus, green apple and pear.

  • Wild Heart (Pinot Gris Orange) 2023

    Naturaly (wild) fermented. Flavours of peach, honeydew and apricot with aromas of cantaloupe.

  • Estate Turan Rosé 2023

    Unique dark coloured rosé. Distinctive flavours of strawberry and plum. Cherry aromas.

  • Pinot Noir 2021

    Notes of black cherry and toasted oak, with aromas of vanilla and butterscotch. A lighter red, from grapes sourced in the Okanagan Valley.

  • Turan-Pinot Noir 2021

    Distinctive flavours of strawberry and plum. Cherry aromas.

  • Estate Turan Reserve 2020 and 2021

    Earthy notes of plum and tobacco, with aromas of chocolate. Aged 3 years in french oak barrels.

  • Blackberry Dessert Wine

    A blend of wild blackberry and estate Turan wine. This port-style wine is fruity with reduced sweetness.

  • Ruby Piquette 2023

    A carbonated gem, made with pomace of turan grapes. Flavours of wild berries and rose, effervescent fizz and lower ABV, pair it perfectly with sunsets, camp-outs and good company.

  • Pearl Piquette 2023

    A carbonated delight, made with pomace of gewürztraminer and pinot gris grapes. Elderflower and citrus notes, effervesent fizz and lower ABV, pair it perfectly with summer days, beach hangs and good company.
